Asian Development Fund X Updates

The ninth replenishment of the Asian Development Fund (ADF X) became effective on 16 June 2009 when ADB received unqualified contribution commitments in an aggregate amount equivalent to Special Drawing Rights (SDR) 1,498,099,906, which corresponds to more than 50% of total donor contributions.

As of 31 August 2009, instruments of contribution have been received from:

The aggregate contributions received amounted to SDR 2,256,395,217 equivalent or approximately 85% of total donor contributions.
