ADB's goal is to enable the effective and efficient conduct of its activities while providing for its personnel's security, safety, and well-being as a high priority.
In the last few years, various initiatives have further enhanced overall security and safety at Headquarters. Recently completed physical and technical security improvements have ensured a safer Headquarters. But so much more remains to be done to sustain the progress and address the new challenges facing ADB.
The timely dissemination of security and safety information is a major priority. We have also introduced the Staff Emergency Information System (SEIS) group text messaging network and improved our pre-recorded security and weather message system and the security and safety website. |
