The Asian Development Bank Headquarters Building
An Environment-Friendly and Safe Workplace

Strategically located in the heart of Metropolitan Manila, the ADB Headquarters is nestled in a 6.5-hectare lot in the Ortigas Center. The 130,000-sq.m building is the workplace for its 2,600 multinational staff.

The building complex is composed of a 9-storey office tower linked through the main entrance lobby, courtyards and a cafeteria to a two-storey special facility block. The special facilities block is linked to the office block by enclosed arcades, which create external courtyards spaces. Towers punctuate the elevation of the office block, and indicate the location of the elevator cores.

ADB seeks to continually improve the quality of office space and support services while minimizing the environmental footprint of the Headquarters building. These efforts have been recognized over the years through several external awards.
