- Securing Afghanistan’s Future: Accomplishments and the Strategic Path Forward, a report prepared by the Government of Afghanistan in collaboration with the ADB, IMF, United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank, sets economic growth targets for Afghanistan that are aligned with the Millennium Development Goals. The report suggests that total financing of $31.8 billion is needed until 2010 to raise Afghanistan to an annual per capita GDP of about $500 by 2015.

This paper was originally prepared in March 2004 as draft Technical Annexes to Chapter 3 of a strategy document entitled "Securing Afghanistan's Future: Accomplishments and the Strategic Path Forward."
