Seminar on Commercial Cofinancing and Guarantees

The Seminar will examine ADB's Cofinancing Strategy and recent changes to its guarantee policy. We will provide an overview and comparisons of commercial cofinancing modalities including:

  • Partial Credit Guarantee
  • Political Risk Guarantee
  • Complementary Financing Scheme
  • Cofinancing with Export Credit Agencies

The overview will be presented against a backdrop of changed market conditions in the Asia and Pacific Region.

ADB will present several case studies on ADB commercial cofinancing and guarantee operations, both for public sector and private sector projects.
