Curriculum Vitae

MIRAI CHATTERJEE is coordinator of social security at the Self-Employed Women's Association (SEWA), a 300,000 strong labor union of workers of the informal economy. Her current responsibilities include managing SEWA's healthcare, childcare, and insurance programs. She has worked with SEWA since 1984, and was the general secretary from 1996 to 1999. She is on the boards of several India-based organisations. including Friend's of Women's World Banking, affiliated with Women's World Banking, New York. She holds a master's degree in public health from John's Hopkins University.
