MOTOMICHI IKAWA is executive vice president of Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), an agency with the World Bank group that promotes foreign direct investment to developing countries by providing guarantees to private investors against political risks. Mr. Ikawa has had a distinguished career in the field of finance, economics, and private investment, including positions at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development; Asian Development Bank; Ministry of Finance, Japan; and Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund, Japan. Most recently, he served as the G7's deputy's deputy and finance Sous-Sherpa and was responsible for multilateral and bilateral development finance.
