WOLFGANG KASPER is senior fellow, Centre of Independent Studies, a free-market think tank in Sydney. He is also emeritus professor at the University of New South Wales. Previously, he was the Foundation professor of economics at the University's College on the Australian Defense Force Academy Campus. Dr. Kasper's research and consulting work has focused on industry location, technical and organization innovation, defense economics, international trade and finance, and institutional development. He is an elected member of the international Mont Pèlerin Society; and serves on the Academic Advisory Council, Centre for Independent Studies, and the Presidium, the Centre for the New Europe.
