LI-GANG LIU, a research fellow at the Asian Development Bank Institute, previously served as an economist at the Chief Economist's Office of East Asia and Pacific Region, World Bank. Prior to joining the World Bank, he was a research associate at the Institute for International Economics, Washington, DC. He holds a PhD in economics from John Hopkins University.
