Curriculum Vitae

JUSTIN LIN is the founder and director, China Center for Economic Research; professor at Peking University; professor of economics at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; adjunct professor at Australian National University; and fellow at the Center for International Food and Agricultural Policy, University of Minnesota. He has authored many articles on economic transition, and agricultural reform and development in the People's Republic of China. He has received numerous awards including the 1999 Best Article Award by Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Nichols Distinguished Lecture from Duke University, and Award for Outstanding Research in the Eighth Five-Year Plan Period, Chinese Academy of Science. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.
