Curriculum VitaeJAMES MCRITCHIE is editor of CorpGov.Net. In 1995, Mr. McRitchie developed an Internet site on corporate governance at CorpGov.Net to chronicle the positive correlation between democratic corporate governance, growth, and profit. He attempts to influence institutional investors to create triple bottom-line returns (providing social, economic, and environmental benefits) and to act as influential mediating structures between the individual and the dominant institutions of our time, the modern corporation. He advises shareholders and activists, and works with the Corporate Monitoring Project (CorpMon.com) to further the availability of professional independent voting advice to shareholders. In the summer of 2002, Mr. McRitchie will be a candidate, running for the state member seat on the board of the $150 billion California Public Employees Retirement System. |
