CHAM PRASIDH is minister of Commerce, Cambodia, and since 1999 has also served as the ASEAN economic minister for Cambodia. Prior to this, he held several key positions in Government including secretary of state, Ministry of Economy and Finance; vice minister, Ministry of Finance; and vice minister at the Prime Minister's Office. He is actively involved in investment and trade issues, and regional and global integration of Cambodia' economy. He is the chief negotiator for Cambodia's accession to the World Trade Organization. In 2001, he received the Order of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Commander Class.
