Curriculum Vitae
XIE ZHENHUA is minister of the State Environmental Protection Administration in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Prior to 1998, he was administrator of the National Environmental Protection Agency, and vice chair and secretary general for the Committee of Environmental Protection of the State Council. In September 1997, Mr. Xie was elected as member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of the PRC, and concurrently served as a senior member of several national commissions. He graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University, and holds a master's degree in law from the Department of Environmental Law, Wuhan University.
