ENZHAO ZHANG is president of China Construction Bank and chair of China International Capital Corporation. Mr. Zhang joined China Construction Bank, Shanghai Branch, in 1964 and was appointed deputy general manager of China Investment Bank, Shanghai Branch, in 1984. He then served as deputy general manager and later as general manager of China Construction Bank's Shanghai office. Mr. Zhang was selected as deputy president of China Construction Bank in September 1999, and served as first deputy president from February 2000. Mr. Zhang graduated from Fudan University with a degree in financial management. He has extensive experience in management and addressing financial sector issues.
