The Roundtable Meeting will focus on the issues related to internationalization and globalization in the context of the Asia and the Pacific developing member countries of ADB.

  • What is the rating outlook for key countries in Asia and the Pacific?
  • What is the role of private capital in addressing the high-level of non-performing loans in some countries?
  • What are the prospects for Asia and the Pacific countries as they emerge from the economic crisis that began in 1997?
  • What is the recent investment experience of institutional investors and what are the lessons learned, including those related to corporate governance?
