Opportunities and Challenges in the People's Republic of China After WTO Accession

A series of high-level seminars on economic reform and development in the People's Republic of China (PRC) is being organized, which will cover the following topics:

  • The PRC's long-term development strategy in a globalized economy
  • furthering government reform to promote private sector development
  • Opening more sectors for regional cooperation, to achieve the PRC's commitments under WTO
  • Reforming the financial sector to improve economic efficiency and financing sustainable development
  • Establishing a competitive environment industry to support the implementation of the PRC's strategy
  • Building an inclusive and equitable society in the social market economy
