Visas

Each foreign visitor wishing to enter the Republic of Korea should have a valid passport and a visa. Nationals of those countries which have Visa Exemption Agreements with Korea may enter Korea without visas and stay for a certain period of time. Visa applications should be made at Korean embassies and consulates in the participants' respective countries or at the nearest Korean missions.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  1. application form;
  2. valid passport;
  3. invitation to the annual meeting issued electronically by ADB or other notification documents related to visiting Korea; and
  4. a recent passport-style color photograph

If visa assistance is required, The Secretary of ADB should be informed as early as possible, with full particulars (full name, sex, date and place of birth, nationality, passport number, date and place of passport issuance and expiry date of passport).
