For inquiries, e-mail: amseminars@adb.org Video and Photo CoveragePlease note that video and photographic coverage of the Opening Session at the Lutfi Kirdar Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC), on Wednesday, 4 May, will be open to accredited TV crews and photographers. The ceremony starts at 10:00 a.m. but camera crews and photographers are advised to arrive by 9:00 a.m. to clear security. There will be an area designated for photographers and camera crews. Photographers will be allowed closer to the podium for the first few minutes of the speeches. Mult boxes will be available for live sound. Video and photographic coverage of the Business Sessions at ICEC will also be permitted. Platforms will be installed for this purpose. RegistrationOnline registration is closed for ADB's 38th annual meeting in Istanbul, but media wishing to attend can register on site between 2 and 6 May at the media registration desk at Ahmet Fethi Pasha Hall, part of the Military Museum complex opposite the Lutfi Kirdar Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre. Media are asked to bring press credentials and freelancers should have a letter of accreditation from an editor. Local media may present an officially issued photo ID. After registering, media may visit the media center at the Ahmet Fethi Pasha Hall, which will be open from 2 May. The media center will be staffed by a team comprising ADB staff and Turkish government counterparts. Media may contact any of the five ADB media liaison officers at the Fethi Pasha Hall at 241-8000* and ask for any of the officers through the following telephone extensions:

Media FacilitiesA fully equipped Media Center will be set up for journalists at the Ahmet Fethi Pasha Hall. Staffed by ADB's Office of External Relations, it will have desk space for more than 100 journalists and booths for news agencies. The Media Center will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, 2 May until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 6 May. Full communication services will be available. Media are advised to bring their own notebook computers. Telephones will have computer link facilities for local as well as international calls. Internet services will be provided. All phone and fax services will be provided on a user-pay basis. Closed-circuit television coverage of the Opening and Business Sessions will be provided at the Media Center.
