AMULYA CHARAN is vice president of the Tata Power Company and director on the board of many Tata companies. He has been with the Tata Group since 1996. He has 34 years' experience in various industries, including consumer goods, international marketing, joint venture promotion, automotive components, information technology, telecommunications, and power. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Roorkee, and a postgraduate diploma in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India.
