PHILIPPE VALLETOUX has been vice-president of the board in Dexia Crédit Local since 2002, and a board member since 2000. In 1993-2000, he was counselor to the president of Crédit Local de France-Dexia. In 1987, he started working as counselor to the president of the board in Crédit Local de France. He worked as counselor for the vice general manager of local development in 1983-1987 in Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. He started his career in 1976 as general secretary of the Groupe Central des Villes Nouvelles (Central Group of New Cities), and at the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Local Authorities, in charge of municipalities in difficulties.
