Andrew Crockett
ANDREW CROCKETT is president of JP Morgan Chase International, and an Executive Committee member
of JP Morgan Chase & Co. Before joining JP Morgan Chase, he was general manager of the Bank for International
Settlements for 10 years. In 1999-2003, he also served as the first chairman of the Financial Stability
Forum, a group of senior financial officials from the major economies that monitors the health of the international
financial system. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at the Bank of England and the International
Monetary Fund (IMF). He has served as chairman of Working Party 3 of the OECD; alternate governor
for the United Kingdom at the IMF; a member of Monetary Committee of the European Union; and a trustee of
the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation. Currently he is a member of the Group of 30;
a trustee of the Center for Financial Stability in Argentina; chairman of the Per Jacobsson Foundation; a member
of the International Council of the China Banking Regulatory Commission; a director of the International
Centre for Leadership in Financa (Malaysia); and a trustee of the American University of Beirut. He was educated
at Cambridge and Yale universities.
