Renuka Ramnath
 

RENUKA RAMNATH has been managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ICICI Bank Ltd, since 2001, when ICICI Eco-net was merged with ICICI Venture. Before that, she was managing director and CEO of ICICI Eco-Net Limited. In 2000, she led an e-commerce initiative for the ICICI Bank group. She was responsible for the India Advantage Fund Series I, one of India’s largest private equity funds in its time. During her 20-year career with the ICICI Bank Group, she has spearheaded various business initiatives. She began her career at the Merchant Banking division of ICICI and then headed the corporate finance and equities businesses at ICICI Securities, an investment banking joint venture between ICICI and JP Morgan. She is a graduate in engineering and holds a master of business administration (MBA) in finance from University of Bombay. She has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
