ADB invites accredited guests to attend the 40th Annual Meeting. Guests include

1. representatives of accredited institutions involved predominantly in banking, monetary, industrial, economic, legal, environmental, and financial affairs relevant to ADB's operations;
2. special guests (ADB former Presidents, Vice-Presidents, and Secretaries of the Board of Governors);
3. individuals from academic and other institutions undertaking research or activities relevant to ADB's mandate;
4. very senior officials from major consulting firms and other corporations that have significant or potentially significant relationship with ADB; and
5. members of the Association of Former Employees of ADB (AFE-ADB).

Accreditation of guest institutions is at the discretion of ADB. There should be established financial or operational relations between the accredited institution and ADB that are actually or potentially beneficial to ADB. Guests attending the Annual Meeting for the first time must be accredited in advance. To apply for accreditation, please contact the following based on your guest category:

Invitations to accredited guests were issued starting January 2007. The invitation includes a URL and a user ID and password that will enable you to access the registration website. Registration is done online and deadline is 15 April 2007.

The Registration Center will be open on 3-7 May 2007 and will issue identification badges and other materials. Guests must wear their identification badges at all times in the Meeting areas and at official events, including social events.

Guests are expected to make their own travel arrangements to and from Kyoto, and arrange for their own hotel accommodation. Hotel accommodation will be handled by JTB Global Marketing & Travel (JTB), the agency appointed by the Japanese authorities to handle hotel reservations for all participants.
