Anwar Ul-Haq Ahadi

ANWAR UL-HAQ AHADI is the Minister of Finance of Afghanistan and the Governor for Afghanistan in ADB. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor of political science at Carlton University in 1984, worked as Banking Director at the Continental Elona Bank of Chicago from 1985 to 1987, and again as Professor of political science at Providence University from 1987 to 2002.

From 2002 to December 2004, he served as the Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank. He has published various articles and essays in national and foreign academic journals and books. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in economics and political sciences from the American University of Beirut. He also obtained a master's degree in financial affairs and management as well as a doctorate in political science from the Northwestern University, USA.
