Norio Okada
 

NORIO OKADA is Professor at the Research Center for Disaster Reduction Systems, Kyoto University. He is actively involved in international joint research activities on integrated disaster risk management through the International Risk Governance Council (Science and Technology Committee) and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development network committee. He is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Systems Design Engineering in the University of Waterloo, Canada. He holds doctoral degree in civil engineering from Kyoto University.
