RENATO PIZARRO was appointed Executive Director of the Investor Relations Office in 2005. He was formerly Chief Economist for Asia at CEMEX Philippines, as well as a senior manager with then Far East Bank and Trust Company, the Assistant Director General of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and a program manager with the United Nations Development Programme, among others. In addition, he was a senior economist with the Department of Finance from 1985 to 1990. He has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in development studies from the Institute of Social Studies in the Hague, Netherlands.
