Arrival

Governors/Heads of Delegations will be met at both Pudong and Hongqiao International Airports and assisted with customs and immigration, provided that The Secretary is advised in advance and in writing of the firm arrival date and flight details, either when completing the Hotel Reservation Form* or as soon as possible afterwards.

Assistance with customs and immigration procedures will also be provided for other delegates arriving on international and domestic flights at both the Pudong and Hongqiao International Airports. Delegates are requested to attach the special luggage tags* to their luggage, and to affix the lapel sticker* prominently on their outer garment.

It takes about 45 minutes to travel from Pudong International Airport and 40 minutes from Hongqiao International Airport to hotels located in the Pudong area.

Chartered Airplane

Participants intending to arrive at the Pudong and Hongqiao International Airports by private planes or chartered flights are requested to advise The Secretary of ADB as far in advance as possible and to provide full details of the aircraft to ensure time for coordination with the airport authorities.
