AZRM: First Tranche Loan on Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Signed
On 17 December, Urban Services Division Director Matthew Westfall and Samir Sharifov, minister of finance and ADB governor for Azerbaijan, signed a US$75-million first tranche loan under the US$600-million Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Program. The signing ceremony was preceded by a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov and other senior government officials on cooperation between ADB and Azerbaijan.
