Provision of Individual Consultancy Services for Social Mobilization

Country/Borrower: Pakistan

Title of Proposed Project: Barani Integrated Water Resources Sector Project (BIWRSP)

The Government of Pakistan has applied for a loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the cost of Barani Integrated Water Resources Sector Project. The sector Project will support the Government of Punjab's efforts to develop water resources and improve their management in 4 districts of the barani areas of Punjab that are suffering from water scarcity. The Project intends to improve households' income and health by increasing crop and livestock productivity through irrigation development and increased access to water and sanitation.

Punjab Irrigation and Power Department (Executing Agency) is looking for individual consultants in the following categories required for implementation of various social mobilization activities of Kot Fateh Khan Sub-Project and pre-feasibility study of 4 Sub-Projects in Barani Integrated Water Resources Sector Project:
  1. Social Mobilization Manager [National: 01 Position, 04 person-months]
  2. Social Mobilizers [National: 08 Positions, 04 person-months each]
