The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Mekong Tourism Development Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.
The National Steering Committee (NSC) Mekong Tourism Development Project (MTDP) (the "Employer") intends to prequalify firms for the following contract under this Project:
Siem Reap Wastewater Management:
- Rehabilitation of approximately 2.1 km. of an existing urban drain
- Construction of approximately 7.4 km. of new interceptor sewers and wastewater connections and stabilizing lagoons to treat discharge
It is expected that the invitation for Bids will be made in March, 2006.
Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the Employer and inspect the prequalification document at the address given below starting 18 January 2006 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm during working days.
To purchase the Prequalification Document in English:

- pay a nonrefundable fee of US$ 50.00 in cash
The document will be sent by airmail. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
Deliver the Application for Prequalification:
- to the address below
- on or before 4:00 PM, 18 March 2006
The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject late applications.
The Employer will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by Applicants in connection with the preparation or delivery of their Applications.
The Employer will notify in writing all Applicants who have been prequalified.
