Loan No. 2224: Banking Sector and Capital Market Development ProgramKyrgyz Republic has received a loan from ADB to help finance the cost of the Banking Sector and Capital Market Development Program. The loan was approved 20 December 2005 The objective of the Program is to promote sound and more balance development of the financial sector to enable it to effectively mobilize savings and provide alternative sources of funding for productive investment and employment generation. Procurement:The loan proceeds will be used to finance the foreign exchange costs of items produced and procured in ADB member countries (other than items specified in the negative list of ineligible items and imports financed by other bilateral and multilateral sources).
