Loan No. 2228: Development Policy Support Program

The Republic of Indonesia has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Development Policy Support Program. The loan was approved on 21 December 2005.

The Program is to
  1. achieve and sustain higher economic growth through improved fiscal management and investment climate, and
  2. to reduce poverty and unemployment by reorienting public expenditures to productive needs and by strengthening governance in public financial management.

Procurement
The loan proceeds will be used to finance the full foreign exchange costs (excluding local duties and taxes) of items produced and procured in ADB member countries, excluding ineligible items and imports financed by other bilateral and multilateral sources.
