Mongolia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Integrated Development of Basic Urban Services in Provincial Towns Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

The Project Management Office (PMO) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and delivery of trucks:

A Bidder could bid for one lot or both lots.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below starting from 09.00 to 18.00 hours.

The Bidding Document will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier services for domestic delivery for an additional fee of USD100.0

on or before 12:00 a.m. on 20 March 2006
together with Bid Security of US7,000 for Lot A and US$11,000 for Lot B or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency

Late bids will be rejected.

Bids will be opened immediately in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the Purchaser's address given above.

The PMO will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.

In the comparison of bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Instruction to Bidders.
