The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of Ningxia Roads Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.
Ningxia Yin-Wu Expressway Engineering Construction Headquarters intends to prequalify firms for the following contracts:

It is expected that the Invitation for Bids will be made in June 2006.
Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document from the addresses given below, between 0900 to 1100 hours and 1400 to 1700 hours (Beijing time) except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
To purchase the Prequalification Document in English, eligible Applicants should:
- Submit a written application to the addresses
below between 0900 to 1100 hours and 1400 to
1700 hours from 14 March 2006
- pay of a non-refundable fee of RMBY1,500 or
US$ 180 in cash, check or direct deposit
The Prequalification Document will be sent by mail for an additional fee of RMBY200 or US$25. The Employer or the Procurement Agent will immediately dispatch the Document.
