Invitation for Bids
1. India has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Urban Water Supply and Environmental Improvement Project in Madhya Pradesh (UWSEIMP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contracts named above. 2. Indore Municipal Corporation, represented by Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation on behalf of Urban Administration and Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh (the Employer) invites Bids for the works given below. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB who fulfill qualification requirements given in Section 3 of Bidding Document, briefly stated below.
3. In case of joint venture all partners combined must meet all financial and relevant experience requirements. One partner must meet minimum 40% of all financial requirements and each of other partners must meet minimum 25% of all financial requirements. 4. Bidders may bid for one or more Lots as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one lot will be allowed to do so, provided, those discounts are included in the letter of Price Bid. 5. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure. 9. Pre bid meeting will be held at 11.00 hrs on 30 July 2008, at Project Manager Office, PIU, Indore. 10. Bids will be opened immediately after in the presence of the Bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the office of Project Manager. 11. The Urban Administration and Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Indore Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation of delivery of Bids. 12.
