1. India has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Madhya Pradesh Power Sector Investment Program - Distribution Component Project (Fourth Tranche) and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract numbered above.
2. The Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd. (MPMKVVCL) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

5. To purchase the Bidding Document in English, eligible bidders should:
- write to the address above
- pay a nonrefundable fee of Rs.10,000 or US$230 by demand draft or banker's cheque payable to Sr. Account Officer, MPMKVVCL, Bhopal (MP) India. The documents will be sent by post or may be obtained by hand. The Bidding Document will be sent by mail for an additional fee of Rs.500 or US$11.30. The Purchaser accepts no liability for loss or late delivery
Bidders who downloaded the Bidding Documents from the website, shall be eligible only after paying a non-refundable fee of Rs.10,000 or US$230 by demand draft or banker's cheque at the submission of Bid form. Any discrepancy in the Bidding Documents downloaded from the website shall not be the responsibility of the MPMKVVCL.
6. Pre-bid conferences will be held at 15:00 hours on 6, 10, and 8 October 2007 for Packages D/01, D/02, and D/03, respectively at the address above.
7. Bidders must deliver their bids:
