Loan 2311: Integrated Coastal Resources Management ProjectThe Republic of the Philippines has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Integrated Coastal Resources Management Project. The loan was approved 23 January 2007. The Project will support the Government's efforts to address the critical issues of sustainable management of marine and coastal resources. The Project will be implemented in six priority marine biodiversity corridors and ecosystems covering 68 municipalities in the provinces of Cagayan, Cebu, Davao Oriental, Masbate, Siquijor, and Zambales. Procurement:All goods and related services financed under the loan will be procured in accordance with ADB's Procurement Guidelines. Procurement under the Project will consist mainly of : Through National competitive Bidding: Vehicles - land-based, speed and motorboats Equipment - enforcement computers and accessories for provinces and municipalities, ICRM centers, DENR and DA Offices and its field offices Consulting Services An estimated 369 person-months of consulting comprising 51 person-months international and 318 person-months national consultants, will be required to assist the national government agencies, local governments agencies, local governments, and local communities implementing the Project. Consultants will be recruited in accordance with ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants.
