| Invitation for Bids
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the ADB Business Opportunities issued on 19 April 2006. 2. The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Guangxi Nanning Urban Environmental Upgrading Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Equipment of Vertical Compression Refuse Transfer Station. 3. The Purchaser Nanning ShiXi Solid Waste Treatment Limited Liability Company through its authorized Procurement Agent, the CNCCC International Tendering Co., Ltd. now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the following Goods.
4. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Document at CNCCC International Tendering Co., Ltd. at the address below from 9:00 am to 4:00pm (Beijing time) during working days. CNCCC International Tendering Co., Ltd. 6. The Bidding Document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of RMB2500 or USD300. The method of payment will be by cash, cashier's check or direct deposit to the Procurement Agent's account number 8884292000118, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Beijing Branch Anhuaqiao Sub-branch. The document will be sent via postal services. The document may be dispatched by courier for an additional fee of RMB200 or USD25. CNCCC will accept no liability for loss or late delivery. 7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of two percent (2%) of the total bid price. 8. Bids must be delivered to Meeting room, Zhongming Mansion, No. 34-18, Xinmin road, Nanning City, China on or before 9:30 am on 29 January 2008 (Beijing time) and will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend. Late Bids shall be rejected. 9. The CNCCC International Tendering Co., Ltd. will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids. 10. In the comparison of Bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document. Specific Notice |
