1.    The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Jilin Urban Environmental Improvement Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the abovementioned contract.

2.    Instrimpex International Tendering Company (CNIITC), the authorized Procurement Agent of Yanji Sewage Treatment Co., Ltd the Purchaser, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders from member countries of ADB for the Procurement of Waster Water treatment equipment. The Procurement includes four packages; the bidder can choose any one or more packages.

Package No.1: Water distribution, gas distribution system of the aeration biological filter tanks and aeration system
Package No.2: Mud-submersible pump, dual-suction horizontal centrifugal pump, Roots blower, Axial current blower and other equipments
Package No.3: Electric equipments with high (low) pressure cabinets, industry automotive web surveillance system, auto-control instrument equipment, project of omnibearing inspection Technics and CCTV surveillance system of equipment operation, etc.
Package No.4: Lifting Equipment, Stainless Steel collecting annulus, Stainless Steel panel, butterfly bamper, spherical valve and other intermediate water equipments.

3.    International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4.    To obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document, interested eligible bidders should contact the following address between 8:30-11:30 and 13:00-16:00 (Beijing Time) from 19 March 2009 during workdays.

5.    To purchase the Bidding Document, bidders should:

1. Visit the Bidding Document Sales Room at the address above and pay a non-refundable fee of RMB?1500 or US$ 200 in cash for each package;

   Or

2. Request for delivery by sending a written application to the CNIITC at the address indicated above. The application must include a cashier's check , or evidence over direct deposit to the account below for the amount of RMB1,650 or US$220 for overseas delivery. The document will be sent by courier. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6.    Bids must be delivered to:

• the meeting room of Government Affairs Hall of Jilin Province, at the address above;
• on or before 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on 30 April 2009. Late bids will be rejected.

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline at the address above in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend.

8.    The Instrimpex International Tendering Company will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
