Invitation for Bids
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the ADB Business Opportunities on 10 September 2008. 2. The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Integrated Ecosystem and Water Resources Management in the Baiyangdian Basin Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contracts for Maintenance Equipment (the Goods). 3. Instrimpex International Tendering Company (the Procurement agent, CNIITC), authorized by Baigou Town Sewage Treatment Plant (the Purchaser) to act on their behalf, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the following Goods and related services for the Project: Baigou Town Sewage Treatment Subproject: Procurement of the Goods and Related Services such as water pumps and electrical facilities, valve,sluice gate and extension joint. This bid is for one lot only, 0703-0920CIC1N039. Delivery period will be made 60 days from contract effectiveness. The project shall normally operate for at least 1 year. 4. 5. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries. 6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the Purchaser's address given below at 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on 15 October 2009. 9. CNIITC and the Purchaser will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids. 10. In the comparison of Bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document.
