Mekong Leaders Agree on Ambitious 5-Year Development Plan

At today's Greater Mekong Subregion Summit, the prime ministers of Cambodia, People's Republic of China, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam agreed on a comprehensive five-year Plan of Action that aims to spur growth, reduce poverty, promote social development and enhance environmental protection in the subregion. ADB-Cambodia Partnership
As of 31 December 2006, Cambodia had received $912.24 million for 38 loans (30 projects and 8 programs), $79.05 million for 14 grant projects, and $91.38 million for 141 technical assistance projects, since joining ADB in 1966. The majority have been provided since operations resumed in 1992.
