Canadian Cooperation Fund on Climate Change
The Canadian Cooperation Fund on Climate Change was established at ADB in 2001 to assist and engage ADB’s developing member countries, at the programming and policy levels, in the management and abatement of climate change impacts through reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. It assists DMCs by:
ActivitiesGrant recipients are ADB's developing member countries and institutions operating in these countries. Priority is given to
ADB carries out the identification, preparation, appraisal and supervision of the projects according to its policies and procedures. For the projects, ADB will select and engage consultants following ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants and Guidelines for Procurement. Description and Status of Approved Projects

Program ManagementThe Steering Committee of REACH provides overall guidance and supervision of the Cooperation Fund. The Working Group of REACH is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities under the Cooperation Fund. Staff members of ADB's operational departments are responsible for the identification and implementation of the projects while international and national consultants provide support. The consultants are contracted by ADB following ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants and Guidelines on Procurement. |
