ADB promotes further learning so that solutions to clean energy problems faced by developing member countries can be explored and the knowledge developed can be shared.

Asia Clean Energy Forum

The forum provides an opportunity for sharing best practices in clean energy policy, finance, and the scaling up of clean energy technologies among practitioners and policymakers.

It identifies challenges faced by public and private sector institutions related to project development and finance, and highlights effective policies and finance strategies to promote greater use of clean energy in Asia and the Pacific.

Climate Change Studies

Due to time-bound considerations on reaching an agreement on an international climate change regime beyond 2012, the need to improve knowledge of climate change issues and policy options has become even more important for policymakers.

To respond to this priority, ADB is taking a leadership role by developing knowledge products on key climate change challenges facing Asia and the Pacific.
