Carbon Expo Asia: The Gateway to the Asian Carbon Market

The leading trade show and conference in the Climate Change Market is coming to Beijing, People's Republic of China on 26-27 October 2006. Jointly organized by Koelnmesse, the World Bank, and IETA, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and the Administrative Centre for China's Agenda 21, Carbon Expo Asia will be the Asian platform for project developers, specialists, and buyers of certified emissions reductions (CERs) operating in the region as well as in the international arena of Emission Trading and Climate Change industry.

ADB official event at Nairobi 2006: United Nations Climate Change Conference
9 November |
The Asian Development Bank hosted an outreach event titled "Clean Energy Development in Asia and the Pacific" on 9 November 2006 at the Nairobi 2006: United Nations Climate Change Conference. Almost 100 conference participants from various countries and sectors attended the event, which featured presentations on financing mechanisms and interventions to promote clean energy in the region.
