Grants and loans provided by official funding agencies have been the largest source of funds for ADB's cofinancing operations. During 1970-2006, ADB arranged official cofinancing of $8.8 billion for 218 projects. On an annual basis, official cofinancing for ADB projects has averaged $407 million per year since 2002.
