Disclosure

ADB values transparency and is committed to increased disclosure of information under the public communications policy (PCP).

The PCP establishes the disclosure requirements for documents ADB produces or requires to be produced. It mandates all project-related documents normally produced during the project cycle to be posted on the web. It also protects the right of people to seek, receive, and impart information and promotes:

  • improved access to operational information, with project information documents and related documents for projects under implementation posted on the web
  • accountability and transparency in ADB operations
  • timely response to requests for information and documents no later than 30 calendar days after receipt of the request
  • participatory development, ensuring a greater two-way flow of information between ADB and project-affected people
  • sharing and exchange of development knowledge and lessons learned
  • awareness and understanding of ADB and its work, policies, strategies, objectives, and results

To request documents and information from ADB, contact the InfoUnit or ADB's office in your country.
