Loan Nos.2099 (SF)/2110-FSM: Omnibus Infrastrucutre Project
The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) has obtained a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Omnibus Infrastructure Project. The overall objective of the project is to enhance public health and the environment through assistance to improve water supply infrastructure in Kosrae and Yap, and wastewater infrastructure in Ponhpei; and to support economic growth the poverty reduction in Chuuk through improvements to the electrical power sector. The Project also advances private sector development by providing improved infrastructure and an enhanced business environment. The Project's six components include:- wastewater improvements (Pohnpei);
- electrical power rehabilitation (Chuuk);
- water supply improvements (Kosrae);
- water supply improvements (Yap);
- a sanitation and hygiene training and awareness program (nationwide), and
- project implementation assistance.
