Contract:

1. The Republic of Indonesia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the State Audit Reform Sector Development Project . Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.

2. State Audit Reform Sector Development Project (STAR-SDP) BPK now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of 150 units of desktop and 500 units of laptop computers for BPK Head and Regional Offices.

Details and specifications are provided in the Bidding Document.

3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given below from 0900 to 1500 hours (Monday to Friday)

5. The Bidding Document, in the English language, may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rp500,000.00. The documents will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier services for local delivery. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:45 (Western Indonesian Time) on 4 September 2006. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the Total Bid Price. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the present of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

7. STAR-SDP BPK will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
