The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of Hunan Roads Development III Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.

Hunan Jicha Expressway Construction and Development Corporation, the Employer, has appointed CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC) as Procurement Agent to prequalify applicants for the following contracts under this Project:

It is expected that the Invitation for Bids will be made in August 2006.

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document from the addresses given below, between 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Beijing time) during working days.

To purchase the Prequalification Document in English, eligible Applicants should:
  • submit a written application to the Employer's address or Procurement Agent's address below
  • pay a non-refundable fee of RMB1,000 or US$125, including mail, in cash, check or direct deposit

The Employer or the Procurement Agent will immediately dispatch the Document.
