1. India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Madhya Pradesh State Roads Secor Project II. Part of this loan will be used for payments of 15 civil works contract packaged under the Project. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

2. Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of the following civil works packages:

2. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. To purchase the The Bidding Document in the English language, eligible bidders should:

  • write to the address above requesting the Bidding Document specifying the package nos. and road names
  • on or before 1730 hours (IST), 31 May 2007.
  • pay a nonrefundable fee of Rs.25,000 or US$600 by demand draft in favor of the Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Road Developmet Corporation Ltd., payable at any scheduled bank in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The document may be sent by courier/post for an additional fee of Rs.1,000 (domestic delivery) or US$100 (international delivery). No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery of documents sent by registered post.
5. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the address above at 1100 hours (IST) on 30 April 2007

6. Deliver your bid:
  • to the address above
  • on or before the deadline: 1100 hours (IST), 8 June 2007
  • together with a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the Total Bid Price.

7. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address given above.
